2018 - A humble beginning .....

White On White commenced with a physical outlet, a website and a dream. As a co-founder, I have an immense passion for flowers and entrepreneurship. Yet, navigating the digital world was an unknown territory for me. Armed with determination and flying solo, it took six months to find our first team member. Several months later, we welcomed another. Each new addition to our team progresses gradually, akin to planting seeds that can grow into potential. Our website was up and running, but the path ahead remained uncertain.

2019 & 2020 - Branching Out

In 2019, White On White saw a shift with the opportunity to expand into Penang. While it brought excitement, it came with tough challenges in a competitive market. Thankfully, our Ipoh outlet helped offset most of the losses in Penang. Soon after, we shifted our focus to digital marketing, experiencing gradual growth as an online florist provider and later paving the way to our third physical outlet in PJ.

Then, in 2020, when Covid hit, we had to pivot our strategy and taking a new route towards building stronger relationships with our digital customers, adapting to the changing times!

2021-2022 Confronting Challenges

As we reflect on the rollercoaster ride that was 2021, we can’t help but feel grateful for the drive and determination that carried us through. We made a few tough calls during the year, like saying goodbye to event flowers, but we also embraced new opportunities in online floral services, taking it one step at a time. During this period, we were active on social media, connecting with our wonderful community to spread our love for flowers.

Then came 2022, and we diversified into the corporate world, responding to a unique demand from our cherished customers. Slowly, things began to change for the better. And by the end of 2022, we celebrated a significant milestone – our first taste of stable revenue and a positive CAGR. It’s been quite the journey, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

2023 - Blooming after the storm

During the first half of 2023, we introduced fresh flower collections inspired by your requests. Furthermore, we established a new presence in Ipoh and formed exciting partnerships with other businesses. As we head into the second of the year, our primary focus is connecting with you in the digital world! The big news is that we are launching an entirely new website!

2024 - Growing Across Malaysia

As we entered 2024, our mission became clearer than ever which is to bring the beauty of White On White’s floral craftsmanship to as many Malaysians as possible. Because of that, we expanded our delivery coverage into even more regions, including Kedah, Kelantan, Melaka, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, and Sarawak. This milestone meant a great deal to us, as it brought us one step closer to ensuring that everyone in Malaysia can experience the joy and artistry of our fresh flower arrangements.

At the same time, 2024 became a year filled with exciting collaborations. We partnered with brands across different industries which are bird’s nest drink manufacturer to cake shops and even stores offering trending plush toys like Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and My Melody. Through these partnerships, we moved closer to becoming a one-stop gifting destination, where customers can conveniently pair fresh flowers with meaningful add-ons to create a more memorable, heartfelt moment for every occasion.

2025 - A New Chapter of Innovation

Then came 2025, a year that marked one of the biggest expansions in our journey. We introduced three new brands under the White On White umbrella each created with a unique purpose and vision:

beyondROSE quickly became a standout brand, offering a fresh and personalised way to enjoy roses. Customers can choose from 10 stunning rose colours, pair them with 10 wrapping options, and decide whether to add eucalyptus at no extra charge. With prices set at RM99 for the standard size and RM159 for the larger option, beyondROSE celebrates creativity, freedom of choice, and the simple joy of designing a bouquet that truly reflects the giver.

Meanwhile, Golden Floral Academy was launched to inspire and nurture new florists through structured workshops and professional floral courses. And with Summerwhite Wedding, we expanded into a dedicated wedding floral brand, focusing entirely on helping couples bring their dream celebration to life.

2025 became the year we embraced innovation, pushed boundaries, and strengthened the foundation of who we are, a brand committed to creativity, growth, and meaningful floral experiences.
